How do you deal with paranoia of leaving a car like this at a parking lot when you go see a movie or something?

I do this, I make ok money and take care of my things, that said I had just got a 2015 jetta sport for my daily work commute and decided to part it in the farthest away spot at a Walmart.
And wouldnt you know it? The lot was maybe 1/4th full and some jackass idiot parks his fuckhuge suburban so close that my friend can hardly get in the passenger side.
He could have chose anywhere else, but decided to go out of his way to be a jackass idiot to me. I wasnt parked incorrectly or anything. Just minding my own business with my new econobox.

I did have one time where I was parked in a regular spot in an old S4 with completely mirrored windows and some old parked next to me (while I was sitting in the car), and hit my car getting out. People don't give fack. I parked in a lot and a van parks right next to me. I don't know why I felt that this person was in a hurry and wasn't careful about her surroundings, but she opened her door and hit my mirror while I was sitting watching. She said sorry and left.
There are multiple reasons that cars don't include such systems.

Whenever I go to the movies, target, or anywhere else nice it's usually not an issue at all. If I park off by myself I'll usually come out to Mustangs, other Camaros, or Chally's parked beside me in a respectable manner. I've also had a M3 park beside me a few times at the Target in Charlotte.
