Inspired by another thread but why is this thing depreciating so fast?

(25k for track pack premium in south US)
>>
>>14142023
Because it's a shitty ford.
Why is this even a question?
>>
>>14142023
All domestic cars depreciate fast
>>
>what is supply and demand

I'm guessing Forb built a fuck load of these...
>>
Because they made a shit ton of them and haven't sold them.
>>
>>14142023

Because mass production.
>>
>>14142023
>mfw 20k is the starting price for 10 years old Mustangs in my country
>>
>>14142023
-Because no domestic brands outside a few jeep models hold value well

-Because they make a metric fuck ton of them
>>
>>14142023
Since you guys get conned EVERY fucking year.
>CHEAP materials that won't last
>meh design
>over priced from factory
>HUGE surplus
>no one wants them
>>
>>14142023
Because no one can afford them anymore. Wages arnt keeping up with inflation.
>>
And S197s are still worth 25k. I guess people like the last gen more.
>>
>>14142023
I call bullshit.

Show me a brand new gt track pack with manual tranny for under 30k and I will suck your cock
>>
lol why buy a new mustang when you can buy a foxbody for like 5k

>>
>>14142456

>>

Seems about rite
>>
>>14145475
That looks about as base as you can get. Used cars cost less than new cars, great thread.
>>
It's just a car, it's not particularly fast in a straight line or around a track, not luxurious, not exotic, it's incredibly common, not very practical. What did you expect?
>>
Probably because the ecoboost mustang is more popular than expected.
>>
>>14145651
Post what you drive that's faster in a straight line
>>
>>14146805
He's still right anon, and I drive a cts-v, 4 second 0-60.
>>
>>14146848
So twice as much to barely beat a Mustang, impressive.
>>
Probably too early to learn anything, but I wonder how the v8s will depreciate vs. the ecoboost.
>>
>>14145632
>>14145632
why do you sound so hurt lmao, go get some bandaids and tissues you butblasted fuck
>>
>>14146866
Did you really run out of real retorts that quick?
>>
>>14142023
As others have said, it's all about supplr and demand. Mustangs are fucking EVERYWHERE. Also, domestic cars are shit at retaining their value in general.

It's why i bought a 2015 STI limited instead of a 2015 GT. The subie will be worth wayyy more by the time i sell it.
>>
I know someone who recently bought a 2013 for this price and I beat him at autoX many times over in my brz. Made him regret spending the extra money. Neither of us are full sized americans so we were sliding around on his oversized leather seats on the course >>14145632 this is not a base model you fool.
>>
>>14147003

It's "base" in terms of having no options, I think is what he meant. It's a GT, but that's about it. No nav, no leather, no performance package, etc. It's as base as you can get for a GT.
>>
>>14146857
>.5 second 0-60 difference
>barely
>>
>>14147026
But the "track pack" won't get much of a premium.
>>
>>14142456
You can't actually be this stupid? Read the damn post you retard.
>>
>>14146943
Because subbies are riced taxed to fuck and retarded owners don't negotiate because
>I know what I got
Looking at my Kijiji and auto trader there's dozens of wrx that have been sitting in on the same ad for months because they're not selling. Mustangs sell and are in higher demand than subbies that's a fact.
>>
Honestly the new Camaro probably having an impact on Musclebro demand
>>
>>14142456

I can't believe somebody's this stupid.
>>
>>14142023
>south us. That's why. There's no money down there. That car in Chicago is over 34 still
>>
>>14148401
>>14147208
What I mean by new was MY16.

I doubt you can find a manual track pack 16 on the private market for under 30k.
>>
>>14148609
Are there revisions between MY 15 and 16?

>>
>>14148918
Fuck dude, after taxes and fees that thing is well over 30k.

The OP was saying that you can find these things for 25k, which I doubt unless there was some kind of collision.

>mfw my 1969 Fastback goes up in value whereas new chubby mustangs lose 25% of their value in the first 2 years.
>>
>>14142023
>tfw Mustang GT premium costs $57k in Canada

Fuck everything
>>
>>14148973
Meh. Every car does that.
>>
Wow that is fucking ugly. I'd rather get a charger
>>
>>14142035
You actually have that backwards. Look at any used high end brand. I almost bought a two year old cls for half what it cost new.
>>
people want premium cars for the price of a mustang gt. not everyone cares about performance
>>
>>14142023
Look at how hard Ford are having to work to shift the mith 0% finance deals that's equivelent to a 25% discount off the sticker price at the low end of normal rates.
>>
Did u drive one of these?
If drives like a fucking shit box....
It's... So bad... That it's painful...
