Alright boys, I'm ready to buy my second car. I drive an '05 Mustang GT that was my first car and I'm ready to upgrade. I'm just looking for some 3rd party input.
I have $20,000 that I'm going to put down + my current car and I've chosen either a GT350 or a c7 z51. The GT350 with all the options I want is $57,000. A 1lt z51 c7 with all my options is $65,000. This is absolutely pushing it in my opinion.
I like both of them but have never driven them. I'm going to do the 2nd though. One thing I love is the rear seats but I'm worried that one year later the GT350 will come out. I don't want to be stuck with the 'middle' Mustang. Of course I'm biased and leaning towards the GT350 but I still love Vettes.

OP, i currently drive a '15 ecoboost and really like it. definitely give a GT350 a chance, but i made some tables of dollar/performance on the mustangs, and the GT is a much better buy just as far as performance/dollar goes. If I were going to plop down that much money, i would definitely get the corvette instead. kitted like so:

if you want a GT350 just buy a GT and put a supercharger on it, a meth kit, and michelin PSS tires. you'll save a ton of money and it'll be faster.

Well, the GT350 has a new engine that hasn't had a lot of real-world use so far, so it's a risk.
However, we know the Corvette engines will blow.
So between the two, I'd go for the GT350, as there's at least a chance the Voodoo is good.
