Why do Americans drive so slow?
I always have to pass or flash my high beams at people with american plates, even in usa you guys are slow.

IDK. The only place in America I have ever driven is Canada and the US.
>driving in Canada
>speed limit says 100
>get pulled over
>cop claims I was going 160
Canadians are so fucking stupid.
Because 60-70 mph (and rarely 80) is about as high as American speed limits go. People don't get the chance to become accustomed to anything faster.
>be american
>drive over the speed limit
>gets pulled over
>get accused of terrorism
>"AM I GETTING ARRESTED???"
>car crushed
>sent to jail
>finally release 3 years after it
>get shot

Nice try burger, but it's clearly labeled km/h here.
That being said, 100 km/h is way too fucking low for the 400 series highways here.

No I remember quite clearly thank you.

Friendly reminder that the gigameter (~3.3 seconds) and terameter (~56 minutes) are the only reasonable base units of time.

Come to Texas. Get run over for not going back 100+ on our highways.
Cops are dicks about speed enforcement.
>long, mile and a half road from my road to the major route; 1 stoplight
>speed limit is a ridiculous 30mph when roads with more residences that are less straight are 40 or 55 in the same town
>driving nowhere near it, cop going other way turns around
>pulls me over
>says I was doing 53 in a 30
>ticket would be $300, fee on drivers license renewal over 3 years would be at least $100, insurance impact over next five years would likely exceed $600
>hire a lawyer for ~$500, likely impact (upcoming) will be that I pay $100 for a failure to yield ticket (so the lawyer tells me) since my record is clean
Even though the speed limit is ridiculously low I now won't go more than 33mph on that road. Other drivers tailgate me like crazy but I'm not getting another fucking ticket. I can't afford it.

Aren't they going the speed limit or so? If they're in the outer lane they're obeying traffic laws, just move over.
