So some of you were interested in my 83 build. It started off rough and would have been a daily driven project, but i decided to do a bit of a restoration. There are many pictures, so please bare with me.

not sure yet. so far everything im using is solid metal. ive got a white hood, white passenger door, white 1st gen bravada grille, 3 tone red and black cab, 2 tone red and black driver door, a black and cream box, and some 80s rally steelies with surface rust on them. i want something that gives the vibe of a farm truck, but is reliable and relatively quick with the 4.3 and nv3500 with 3.73s in the rear.
the white truck was my parts truck. picked it up for free and dollied it home. the other pic of it was when i was done with it and my friends destroyed her :( The other rolling chassis truck is a donor truck i used the cab for. i trailered the cab home and stored it in my backyard. the white grille is off a 93 bravada. and soon i will hopefully wire up the digital display and convert from analog over to digital dash. my 92 chassis only has 90k on the dash, but the entire body was shot. A-pillar was rotted out, as well as the cab corners and the back of the cab. The frame is solid for the most part, besides some surface rust and rotted cab mounts and bed mounts that i patched up. i paid 375 for the 92, 900 for the donor cab, truck, and the white 92 was free. just picked up a bed today for 100, and have some fun plans for it. hope you guys enjoy. feel free to ask any questions or add any ideas. i would love to hear any input!
