Hell, we even have the Viper's V10 which is probably the cheapest most reliable V10 sold in a mainstream car. (as far as i'm aware of)
These engines have stuck with us through the worst of it all (especially the LS) and continue to get decent gas millage and make plenty of horsepower.
A C6 Z06 got about 20 or so MPG give or take.
That's about the same as a WRX STI or EVO with 4 less cylinders.
