Sure they do, the Falcon, Galaxie, Mustang, and Camaro were all successfully campaigned in touring cars or rally around the world. If you account for how well their cars have done, especially Ford, in relation to how often they even put together a race team, vs. brands like Ferrari which only existed to race, the Americans have done really well.
