Do they make any Group C prototype kit cars?
I know the technology is gonna be hard for me to get my hands on, but at least a car with this style.

Imagine driving down the interstate at 120mph with the downforce weight of 8 men.
Closest thing you'd find while being street legal is probably a 904 kit car or a factory 5 gtm.
Even if there is, its gonna cost more money than you have.

Your best bet then is to buy something like a fiero, mid/rear mount engine rwd, chop everything, and i mean everything off, so you're left with the engine mounted and nothing else. Restructure the chassis with thin aluminum piping. Trash the engine and swap in a fully built and turbo'd h4 from a subaru, no more than 400 hp. Mate it to a 6/7 speed clutchless sequential and the best lsd rear end you can find. Make sure to rebuild the engine with as many aluminum parts and take everything out you don't need. Get some incredibly stiff springs and stiff compression shocks.
Mount two side mount turbo intercoolers by the side of the engine and while you're building the body, duct the air to the intercoolers. The body has to be built of thin fiberglass, front end a wedge at 25° and slope the back up at about 10°.
The car will be no more than 3 1/2' high.
Slap foot wide tires on the back with aluminum rims and 10" fronts.
You will be left with a 917-loike car with less hp, but it will beat any car around the track if you build it right, but you will die if you crash.
