as a tire installer I've seen multiple retards come in and you can tell they spray painted them through the wheel with the caliper on so now everything is covered in canary yellow.

I think it looks better to paint the black instead of bright red just so they aren't bare steel. I never understood why people want to show off their 1-piston calipers on tiny rotors with 19" wheels.
