I mostly agree here, although I enjoy Hockenheim and Road America. Old Silverstone is objectively better than the new layout.

Fun fact: The best race tracks in the world are those that started life as closed off public road race venues and only eventually got paved over as permanent race circuits.
All those scratchbuilt race tracks look like a generator has been spitting them out following the input "include one corner of each type".
the problem with GP tracks is they are made for cars that can easily go 200mph. so unless you're in one of those it's probably a little too wide and little too spread out.
i dislike road america i think it needs a major update, but the rest are alright.

I think once trees and landscaping and shit grows in around a lot of these new track they will look and feel a lot more real. imagine if cota had shit loads of oak trees and real grass it would actually be kick ass, instead it's in the middle of a fucking field of nothing.

They will never feel real because no one would ever build a public road like that. New Formula 1 tracks haven't naturally evolved, they've been engineered according to formulas and percentages of straights and mathematical overtaking chances.
