How critical is it to replace a bad valve cover gasket?
The engine is covered in oil, but I haven't really noticed a drop in the oil level and nothing is getting onto the ground.
Can it wait until after winter?

My valve cover gasket is leaking too, but I can only tell by smell and a spot on my exhaust header.
I ain't fucking doing it anytime soon. Fuck getting the valve cover off of a lincoln.
An engine covered in oil just means rust prevention bruh. Seriously though, it doesn't matter really as long as your oil levels are fine.
