Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing an old '72 Honda Z600 AKA 600 and putting a motorcycle engine in it. The only problem is the 70's 600's are FWD and I guess making it RWD would be a huge pain and not worth the effort. As you can tell, I'm no expert on mechanics... Any suggestions? I love the way these little cars look and having a better engine in it than the stock engine would be awesome.

I saw a vid of Jay Leno's Garage of a guy who did this to a 90's 600, but I believe that one was RWD. This popped up on craigslist but when I saw the "FWD" I freaked out
Sounds like a good plan, since you don't have any experience you should just a get a Z600 FWD to RWD with motorcycle engine adapter kit

You sound like you have no idea what you are talking about and will not likely follow through with the project, and even if you did manage to start, you would never finish it. By the 99 x 10 ^(∞) that you do overcome all of this, it will only be capable of what most 2 litre shitboxes are capable of now with the only advantage being a sequential shifter.
Take my advice, buy it and enjoy it for what it is and buy something else to fuck up for your first attempts.
