That's unfortunate. The site claims it happens to vehicles that were properly maintained but I'm still willing to bet most of the cases were caused by lack of maintenance from people dumb enough to buy a Chrysler product in the first place.

i owned a 1998 grand cherokee 5.9 limited and it was a work horse man true craftsmanship. it honestly felt like it was built with love. power lines snow storms towing vehicles trailers family get aways power heated everything.

no it was due to a design flaw in the water pump gasket iirc somehow letting coolant seep through and contaminate the oiling system slowly
