hey guys, im stuck for the holidays over here with no friends. whats a good spot besides glendora?
>>14109549
Pull up Google maps, you have so many choices in a hundred mile radius its ridiculous.
>>14109549
Drive west until you hit the ocean and dont stop until you hit Hawaii
>>14109556
not sure which one of these are good, and which ones are just a traffic trap
>>14109558
please dont be like this
>>14109562
I don't reall have roads as advanced as glendora, I live in redlands. I enjoy Oak Glen road, mill creek road, rec he canyon, city creek road, and rim of the world. I suggest you do what I do where ever you go, do it after hours to avoid traffic or go on an off time when most are at work.
>>14109610
im in redlands also anon...oak glen is always blocked with vans going to apple orchards
>>14109617
That's why I go on off times/late at night.
>>14109625

it's only really convenient for people in san gabriel and san fernando valley. everyone else still has to 'commute' there. too far for me.
>mfw NA Miata faggot in Cochella Valley

Mulholland near Malibu, any of the X Canyon Roads, Tuna Canyon is my favorite, watch out for cops waiting on PCH as you come out
Angeles Crest, western attack to Mt Birdy, 33 north out of Ventura
head south and you can run Palomar Mt or Mt Laguna, or the canyon roads south of the 8
First rule of cool driving roads. You do not talk about cool driving roads.
They end up like Tail of the Dragon. Full of casuals and police during the warm months.
This is probably a ways away from you, but in Santa Barbara we have East Camino Cielo, Gibraltar, Painted Cave, Bella Vista in Montecito, Old San Marcos Road, etc. There's a nice twisty section in Hope Ranch but I wouldn't call it a mountain run.
909fag here. anyone take euclid up into baldy? i grew up around that area and used to fantasize about taking the twisties there at a brisk speed.

I am now

Sufficiently good roads scare away all the casuals. Mt Hamilton's downhill in norcal sends you 40 miles into the countryside and casuals don't have time or the inclination to do that many hairpins
The casuals glue onto nontechnical roads like PCH and shit - those roads are nice, but they are painfully boring. I have never recommended PCH to any serious driver
>mfw GMR and hit the apex on that tricky ass corner so well I tap the cone.
did some anon honk at me? or just someone mad at me @_@
