Would any of these be worth buying a fixing?

>Make offer
Yeah, that one.

Apparently, there is a subculture of Ferrari rats who adapt parts from Ford to work but I'm sure they know a lot more about cars than you or I, OP.
>>
i work on coachbuilt cars for a living, and occasionally i do work on some ferraris. As a general rule I wouldn't buy anything older than a 360 to work on myself.

also stay away from anything with structural carbon fiber damage.

How the fuck does a 17 year old car get repod

It changed hands to a less fortunate supercar driver? I fucking doubt it
>>
>>14107699
Great now I have to see this vomit inducing thing in the catalog for the next two days.
>>

Business went under.

>>
>>14107924
It's a multi-million dollar car. You figure it out.
>>
They have a '12 Boxster theft recovery for 13 grand

Seems like a no brainer, reliable car with a couple thousand on minor body or interior repairs
>>
>>14107975
I'd think people who buy it would be able to pay it up front

Who the hell finances 1 million for a car
>>
'05 Carrera GT with scratches

Make offer

What is this worth?
>>
>>14107987
>multi-million
>1 million
Go try to find an F1 for $1 million. I'll take it.
>>
>>14107699
i wanna know how badly fucked an F40 needs to be to be on sale for 80k
>>
>>14108004
It's yellow.
>>
>>14107997
A 20 year old supercar isn't worth even 1 million unless it's a collectors item which the shit tier McLaren isn't

Here's your reply.

It's offensive to Ferrari enthusiasts who detail their Mondials with diapers.
>>
>>14108035
Wow, so much money for a car whose rear looks like a Ferrari on a low budget and the front like a fucking 80s Toyota.

And it doesn't even hold any world records anymore because a VW fucking outclassed it.

Sad.
>>
OP here.

Just bought the 360 Modenna with collision damage for 17K CASH MONEY

25K max fixing it ez
>>
>>14108095
Enjoy your maintenance costing the price of that car

What's there to appreciate? It was shit when it launched. Why would I have bought it over a cheaper Lambo?

What did it offer but exclusivity?
>>
>>14108108
I make 65grand a year and I live with my parents.

10,000 maintenance a year I'll be happy with

Now I'm going to drive 6 hours to check it out, cya poor cucks

>>14108110
Low test beta faggot. This is why you dont drive a ferrari
>>
>>14108117

You wouldn't. Go benchrace somewhere else and shit up another thread.

They're not that expensive to maintain.

>2005 Aston Martin DB9 - Theft Recovery - $19,800

What's so bad about 'theft recovery'?

Because 20k for a db9 is not bad, unless its super high mileage
>>
>>14110267
Thank you :)
Honestly though, it seems like very poor value for money.
>>
>>14110414
That's not the point though
>>
>>14110442
So the point is its a symbol of how much money you have, and the enjoyment is drawn form being able to exclude people from the owning things you can?
>>
>>14110331
>What's so bad about 'theft recovery'?

Probably expensive repairs to fix the damage done by stealing it.
>>
>>14110116
fox and grapes
>>
>>14110744
>>14110331
Theft recovery just means that it was gone long enough for the insurance company to have paid out to the owner and then it was actually recovered post ipso facto so the insurance company technically owns it since they paid for it and now they're liquidating it. They can be good bargains but they may have been chopped or who knows what. If they're nice, someone in the company usually snaps them up before they're offered publicly.

That website is a scam so you pay their $25 registration fee to see the cars available. The McLaren F1 in the photo is chassis #007 and that pic was taken when it lived in Massachusetts. It was sold in 2010 and now is in Switzerland. I love how one link of it says "bank repo" then another "flood car."

Btw, that particular Enzo has already been rebuilt. Can't remember the serial number off the top of my head.
