I dislike button start altogether, even though it is a bit more convenient. There is nothing like turning a key.
Just as a reminder, most cars made in recent years that still use keys are basically push buttons.
For exmaple, try flicking the key forward really fast, then pulling it back. It'll start as long as it reaches the start position for even a fraction of a second. It was just tricking you
