you can run any fuel in anything. the only thing that needs to change is the afr and timing.
rc cars can run on 10% nitro / 90% methanol to 60% nitro / 40% methanol and e85 and 100 octane pump gas and everything in between as long as octane stays high enough to not detonate.

But really if you want a engine to run just on nitro buy a R/C car because its a fuck load cheaper.
You need to think about shit that just doesn't even register for normal engine building. Hell burnt nitromethane creates nitric acid vapor so you need to factor in crazy saftey for the driver.
If you dont clean out tanks and lines and anything that the fuel has touched the left over shit if it drys there is a small chance it can become shock sensitive.
Its crazy temp sensitive so you need to factor that in OR try to keep the temp level.
