Never buying 80s electric vacuum carb stuff again. Other than that, I like manual.
>>
1991 Honda Prelude SR 4WS
Bought many Hondas after that (1990 CRX, 1999 Civic Hatchback, 2008 Accord Coupe Ex-L) and bought a 2004 RSX last week. I've had a 240sx, gc8, lancer, several trucks but I always end up going back to Hondur and I think I always will.

Long string of muscle era Fords after that and still trend towards Ford.

Up over a curb almost kill myself into a shop full of people.

My nigga. My first car was a '91 Prelude.

Though, it didn't influence shit when it came to my car preference.

Still own the 99 Mustang, 03 Cobra, the 02 LS, and the 06 Speed6.

The celica supra was my first toy car. Now I want a real one, but they're all old and rusted.

First car was an AE82 Twin Cam 16. Bought an SW20 MR2 after that, got rid of it because I broke it, and bought another AE82 Twin Cam because I liked the first one so much. Still have the second AE82, but I wanted a similar experience in a RWD setup - lightweight, peaky NA engine, nice response and feedback. Imported an AE86 Trueno from Japan a while back, it's been registered in my country and I'm going to go and pick it up soon. The next stage after that is going to be sorting out an engine build for it.

I can accept a hand-down.

But, why a speed3? It might be FWD, but it's a DOHC 2.3L Turbo hatch that runs 0-60 in 5.4 sec and a 1/4 in 13.9 sec. Fun as hell and it will still do everything you need it to do as a DD.

My first car was a 95 prelude si. I put a h22a in it, drove it for 8 years and sold it to my friend who still daily drives it...it has 310,000 miles now. It ruined every other car experience for me, nothing since has that combination of fun, mpgs, reliability and handling. I currently drive a g35, my next car will be a s2000.

2002 Seat Ibiza back in 2011

Made me not want to get any hand-me-downs from my sister again because she mistreated the car in every imaginable way - dents and scratches everywhere, clutch was begging to be killed, battery almost dead, two months until the engine light came on..

It's now in a better place, and by that I mean Africa where it hopefully has tasted plenty of black blood

First Car:
> 1996 Honda Accord
> didn't effect me in anyway because I drove it for a year.
First car I purchased:
> 2001 Honda S2000
> Looked nice and perfectly normal
> Carfax says everything's in the clear
> drive as a weekend vehicle and daily every once in awhile.
> go to resell
> has been in 4 different accidents
> never been totaled but has been close to.
> soft top ripped because of poor replacement installation.
> headlights misaligned with side skirts
> cool packs going bad left in right
> lost 2 grand on resale.
This car told me to not take anything on face value and do research. A lot of research. Also that Carfax is the a piece of shit. On the plus side, it made me like, fast, smaller cars.

What was that about auto V6's?
>>
>>14099127

These cars always look phenomenally new when they have good paint on them. Very nice fitment/choice of wheels, too.
>>
>>14099406
>Automatic
Doesn't change the fact it's a pussy car.

Seriously doesn't matter how much power you add, you are a giant faggot for owning a V6 auto with nitro.
>>
>>14099311
Fwd isn't even a bad thing, it just requires different skills
>>
>>14099416
Don't forget the turbo.

And if you really believe that, by that logic all Supras, 3000GT/GTOs, Subaru SVXs, Honda NSXs, and Acura TLs are for pussies.

But, seriously dude. It's not what you have, it's what you build it into. Turbo V6s that are out running 700awhp GTRs, Miatas with LS swaps, or even a a Prius with a 2JZ swap. Doesn't matter what it is, it can be badass...

...except a Tiburon. That will always be a girl's coup.
>>
>>14099459
Oh I'm not bashing on FWD, just a lot of people here don't like them.
>>
You, know... I would say that if you're into modern muscle cars, then a V6 Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, or Challenger is your best bet for a first car. But, now these days all the new V6 muscle cars have 300+ hp and are running quarter miles to their top tier V8 counterparts from the 90's.

So, even starting out with an older Cobra, Camaro SS, or Trans Sm WS6 wouldn't be out of that range. I just believe that giving kids a lot more practice and hands-on training before they go off with the car on their own would be smart. And maybe even detuning the car to have less power. Perhaps even starting to teach your kids to drive from 13 years or younger would be best. And it might give them more of an appreciation for cars.

But, that's just my two cents.

Never get a V6 truck again (13mpg with 0 power)
I want a back seat
Never buying anything that relied so heavily on electronics and plastics, im going pre 90's for anything else (Hell i want late 60's to mid 70's)

Though the crap MPGs ive lived with means im not scared of a big car with a guzzling v8 in it cause ill get the same MPG with more everything. I do still like standard.

>>14099698

It was.

It was given to me by my grandfather who kept the interior immaculate and took very good care of it.

Before he gave it to me, he took it to the mechanic and asked him to "replace everything that was slightly worn and do your best to make it as new again".

I kept it almost as clean as he did. My friends and parents called me anal. I didn't give a fuck.

It had over 500,000km on it when I sold it 7 years ago.

It was a great car.
