It isn't all about the flashy style that makes an interior stand out.
A lot of things are really great looking to me on this interior and I'm not even a Camaro fan, I was just looking at vars of 2016.
It is subtle, yet very sleek and fancy if that makes sense. Not over done is what I am getting at. I like the compact look, all the controls are very tight for the driver to easily use and the overall color scheme just catches my eye. I'm just throwing out my opinion. Something about this interior is hitting me with a lot of excitement.

The design is ok but I guess I'm sort of a sucker for good materials. Everything in your interior looks very plastic-y. Also the steering wheel doesn't look very sleek. I also don't like how busy every surface looks, but that's something most modern cars do.

Yea that interior is very nice. After doing some research, the new Camaro actually doesn't have a lot of plastic in it. Of course it has some, but they cut out a lot of the plastic and replaced it with real materials. Also the quality of the interior for the price of the car is pretty damn good as well.

Damn, I like this angle a lot, really making me want a Camaro just for the interior. It has this very compact look, like everything is focused for the driver and no one else, which I like. It's just a nice exciting look I guess while remaining subtle in a way. Looks like I'd be in a cockpit with freedom to control everything.
I love luxury car interiors but they all, to me personally, lack a sense of imagination and fun. They seem super serious and business like. I guess I just answered my own question. It looks fun and exciting instead of stern.

Go actually sit in it. I've sat in it and it's still mostly hard plastics and feels very cramped. Same thing with the 2015 Mustang. I was very unimpressed given the hype about "how good the interiors have gotten".

They are head and shoulders above previous models, that's for sure. That's what the hype is really about, how much better they are in terms of Camaros/Mustangs of previous generations. They're still obviously not up to the standards of German luxury brands, but in terms of American cars they're alright.
That being said, the Camaro is a cramped piece of ass (as I mentioned in >>14101072). The Mustang feels much more spacious in comparison, I think.

With GM ignition switch from hell, you lose power brakes and most electrical circuits.
