Snap oversteer is a thing, and it's unpredictable as fuck in an MR that hasn't had it's suspension tuned perfectly. It's correctable if the driver is good enough, but it will put you into a tree/curb if you lose traction and aren't ready for it

Have you seen how easy it is to swap literally any motor into a Civic? It's simpler to do a K20 (200-240hp) swap into a 1990s Civic than a 4AGE 20v (160hp) swap into a 1990s Corolla.

Can confirm, the third video is mine. It was my first time on the track, and my first time experiencing decent oversteer in my 235 WHP MR2. I lifted off the throttle mid corner and over-corrected way too much. Not something a decent driver would have had an issue with.

Basically, the point is that when a car is under throttle the weight distributes over the rear tires more than if it isn't, because of inertia. So if you're in mid corner, and you let off, your rear tires all of a sudden have less force on them, therefore less grip, and they'll slide out if you're cornering hard.
People think "snap oversteer" is some kind of wizardry with a mis-engineered chassis and suspension set up. It's not, it's all throttle control. Basic fucking physics.
