That was the case with my first car. Bought a 2000 Eclipse GT off some idiot kid on craigslist. Didn't know what this loud roaring noise was (front right wheel barring) and had a slight chip out of the front right bumper. He gave me a brand new unpainted bumper, HID lights for it (which I just left out), two 12" Kenwood Subwoofers and an Amp. Only cost me $1600. Total repair cost, $1800. Dumbass kid drove on the bad barring for too long and superheated itself to the front right axel.
Nothing because non-enthusiasts have no idea wtf a Mazdaspeed 6 is. I usually get compliments on the interior though because it's all black leather and I keep it clean.

Everyone always acts like they know what I'm talking about when I say my car is midengine, then they come and see it and I open the frunk and they ALWAYS go, "Wait anon, where's the engine?" To which I always reply, "I told you it was midengine, so the engine is behind the seats." Then proceed to open the engine bay and they look stunned as if it wasn't possible. Fucking best thing ever. Plus the 4age sounds glorious and everyone is always asking me how I got such a fast car so cheap. I just say, "You just gotta know about cars."
