Saw this on CL http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/5370720295.html
Why is it so cheap is this a total respray? anyone know what to look for in NA MR2's
probably missing a 0 at the end of his asking price

I would go for it, op. it looks nice and you could always drive it before you buy it. I would test the bait first.
Damn dude. I would go check that out if I were you. You'd be lucky to find a rusty, high mile AW11 for that price in my area.

It does have 225000 miles on it though but it is a naturally aspirated Toyota
thanks mate, i've been dying for one of these and it's finally affordable. I just sent him an email offering 2.3k for it.
It's probably priced the way it is because it made from at least three different cars.
220k on the body
110k on engine
45k on trans
etc.
So for all intents and purposes, it is a non original mr2 with 220k.

>22 year old car with over 200,000 miles
That's why it's so cheap.
>buying an usdm na sw20 ever
>most of the extra weight but none of the extra power
and that steering wheel holy shit
>>14091749
Well good luck let me know how it goes
>>14091762
>newer engine
>new transmission
You say this like it's a bad thing.
>>14091796
It's probably a lie thing. Plus, it doesn't matter.
>>14091749
Why are you offering more than his asking price?
Also:
>ugly wheels
>ebay steering wheel and taillights
>front looks higher than the rear
>>14091796
It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just an unknown. It also means that the car has been fucked with and other things may have been replaced and it went through at least one engine and at least one transmission.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this if everything has been done right. There is no guarantee that everything has been done right though.

Got the leathers and that sexy glossy whatcha call it colour changing paint
>>14092351
that car has been for sale for months, probably because of that awful bodykit and paint
>>14092351
and leather seats are shit, unless you really love slipnslides
>>14092351
>I'm gonna spray my car to look like an oil slick on a driveway
>I earn more style points in NFS if I put a gaudy bodykit and spoiler on it
Why do people do this?
>>14091612
>clean
>running
>$1750
This is why I'd rather Frankenstein mine and run it into the ground than sell it
>>14092493
>Why do people do this?
Because they have an opinion that differs from yours.
>>14091749
1750 firm
>hurr ill offer 2300.
Way to go retard.
>>14091749
Retard alert
>>14092653
Well their opinion is wrong.

Because Brits miss seeing TVRs driving around on their streets
