Fucking baby boomers

they fucked the economy for our generation, buy cars they can't even drive, then jack up the fucking prices so we can't afford them.

I can't wait till they all fucking die and their retarded kids start selling them for less.

This might not be a result of the boomers but rather the sheer rarity of the boss. the Laguna Seca edition alone only had about a few hundred built if that.

I also thought boomers preferred older muscle not new.

Boss is a legend though and the GT350R will likely be worth hundreds of thousands in the future. Z28 is heading that way is well.

Ever thought that the younger generation might buy up the modern muscles like the boomers did the 60s? in like 2050 we might have the same things being said to us heh...

These "buy it now" listings stay up for months on end. Ebay makes a fortune off the resisting fees.
>>
>>14090985
Everyone uses the term boomers, you moron. People on 4chan didn't make it up.
>>
>>14091042
No shit retard but you're using it as though saying millennials aren't gonna be the same way as "boooooooooomerrrzzzz" in 35 years, except with cars like supras, first gen nsx, mr2 (low mileage), r32,3,4 etc
>>
>>14091029
Not that unbelievable of a statement really. '68 GT500KRs and Boss 429s go for $300k-$500k all the time.
>>
>>14091036
Interest in newer boss models isn't as high because they aren't gonna hold value the same as older ones, and their price is more held up by current mileage than classic on boss models. So they stay up quite a while cause demand is low, however like in OP pic, the yellow one has only 26 miles, so the price is still close to as new. Also rarity (on the laguna seca models)

A no reserve auction shows its real value.
>>
>m-muh boomers!
>>

Right for the most part, and ye maybe OP pic the cars might be a little overpriced, like the black one at the top, but idk a whole lot about those models spcifically ( how much the were new and all) , but naturally they'd depreciate for X amount of years until the rarity amongst collectors starts to outweigh the odometer readings. Take 2003/4 Mach1s. They cost far less than new still, however avg price for very low mileage ones (5000 and under) - maybe like $20,000+ and about like $12,000- for ones closer to 80K-100K mileage. But the trend for these are starting to rise in avg price cause they've already just about bottomed out on depreciation

How am I right "for the most part"? The only ones that sell are the no reserve auctions and no Boss 302 goes over $40k. They are only worth what someone is willing to pay.
>>
>>14091114
Yes, but they are worth what ppl are willing to pay, depending on who those people are. Some people don't shop on Ebay. And some of those people might have paid more. I'm not saying no reserve doesn't get like, at least close to real price, but there could always be someone who would pay a bit more. Or like, another way - take old gtr's for example, they are worth far more in the US than in like japan or somewhere else with no import restriction

>no Boss 302 goes over $40k
>one of the three sold listings on my image is $41k
>>
>>14091114
And also, althought i dont know the difference (will google shortly), the laguna seca models are a bit rarer so a more $dinero$
>>
>>14091130
>autistic manchild points out one of the three sold listings on my image is $41k
>it's actually $40,975
>>
>>14091114
Additionally, the seller has ACCEPTED way less than the selling price
