What do you fags think about the Honda S660?
I think it's a qt ride and hope it comes to Merica soon
i have to ask myself
would i fit in one?

>and hope it comes to Merica soon
We all do. Everyone except the bus riders.
Looks to much like a Factory Five 818. and its way slower
>>14087706
thats a sexy door hinge
>>14087706
carbon fibre wheels...are they just metalized on the surface for fun?
>>14087705
The FF 818 is much larger. The S660 is a Kei car, made for city driving, not racing or going fast. Though it is rated for 135 mph.
Its primary purpose is to be a small, stylish roadster that gets good gas mileage and is nimble to drive and park in a crowded city with lots of traffic.
>>14087705
it's the successor to the 90s beat you fucking nerd
>>14087693
Give it a 1ltr turbo and it'd be great
660cc for outside japan is just not enough, sure its light but it's still slow and you'll be revving the nuts off it trying to keep up with motorway traffic
>Even though it has a retractable roof, which normally adds weight, the tiny mid-engine roadster is part of the Kei car category in Japan, weighing less than 2,000 pounds and measuring under 11.2 feet in length. Being part of that special category also means that the 660cc engine has its displacement restricted to that figure by law, but unconfirmed reports suggest that a hotter model sold outside Japan may benefit from a turbocharged, 1.0-liter engine, with its handling developed in cooperation with Mugen.
>>14087700
It's roughly the same size as the Beat, and Jeremy Clarkson drove one and fit into it so you shouldn't have too many problems, big guy.
>>14087745
An export or US market version was hinted to use motors such as a turbocharged 1.0 liter motor with around 95 kW (127 hp) and Iwamura said he'd fight for it to come to the USA if the "market asked for it"
>>14087774
god i hope this stays under 20k but i know it wont
>>14087774
>An export or US market
Hopefully the UK too, they would have healthy competition
>>14087732
>s660
>not successor to s600
shygddt
>>14087784
If they release a 660cc version overseas, you might see them for $15-$17k for a base model, but a 1 liter turbo would easily be $25k at the very least.
>>14087787
It would do very well in the UK, I think. You guys aren't as quick to judge someone for driving a tiny car because >muh bigdick vehicles
>>14087791
Nope. S600 --> S800 --> S2000. None of them were Kei cars, technically speaking.
The S660 is the direct successor to the Beat, which originated from design plans made by Carozzeria Pininfarina and sold to Honda.
>>14087693
>tightening nuts
I hope it comes to north america but Honda and most of Japan hates money so it probably won't.
>>14087745
>1000cc CBR1000RR engine
>naturally aspriated
>6 speed sequential manual
For even more MUH DICK
>>14087693
I really hope they manage to export it to Europe. It kinda fits in here, and I'm sure there's demand for it. I mean, itf there's demand for a fucking Daihatsu HiJet, this thing should sell like hotcakes.

good luck getting in and out of year car in a standard carpark space
>>14087810
I could imagine a 1.0l turbo staying around 20k. It just wouldnt sell to anyone but enthusiast at the same price as the Miata due to its size. If they can keep it right at 20k, I would actually consider buying a new car. SFR is close but no tarbo no buy
>>14088188
This car is only 58 inches wide. You should have plenty of space.
>>14088116
>no reverse gear
Still awesome fun and worth doing though. Just make sure you park facing uphill so you can roll it backwards.
>>14088272
Or maybe a very, very small electric motor for reverse.
Hell, I'd be up for a transverse mid-mounted CBR engine, combined with two in-wheel electric motors for some torque vectoring. True torque vectoring in a kei car should be pretty fun.
>>14088272
If they'd put it in the car, they'll probably add a reverse gear.
>>14088283
I thought he was talking about doing a swap.
>>14088632
No, I was talking about the S1000 being offered with a CBR1000RR engine, with some kind of sequential manual gearbox. Besides, I don't think the CBR's stock gearbox will hold up against a 2000lbs car.
>>14087706
>>14087774
That interior looks neat af, reminds me of Honda's 80s interiors a lot.

Somebody else corrected your post already,
Just wanted to drop by and inform you that your a fuckboi. Why do you spout shit when you have no clue what your talking about. Smh.
I really like it, I'm actually thinking about importing one to Europe. Either this or the new Copen. Probably the Copen though because the S660 doesn't have any storage space and I might have to buy groceries once in a while...
