What are the widest tires I can put on a 9" rear wheel and an 8" front wheel while still maintaining good drivability? Wheels are going on a twin turbo 335i coupe. 18" diameter if that matters at all.
Also is it worth dropping ~$800 on a set of Michelin Pilot super sport's for this car or is there something else cheaper that could give me similar performance/longevity. Also best places to look for a deal on tires? Plan on having full bolt on status by the end of 2016 (Intercooler, charge pipe w/ BOV, down pipes, back exhaust, full MHD tune) want to have some tires that can hold up.

Pleb.

Re11s are what I run on my 335
Why MHD? The bov is just for noise...also you're better served with a catch can and walnut blasting prior to any of those mods.
CAI doesn't hurt either, considering it's the major proponent of "FBO" anyway
Tire thread!
Any suggestions for a car that has seen 95% highway, typically damp roads with little to no snowfall? It's a Mazda3.

You want 235, or maybe 225. All other answers are wrong.

Also, 205s on the front or find another pair of 9" wheels.

Rivals or RE-71R. 595 RS-R is also a good option since they're so cheap you can buy new tires twice a year.
