It looks like a chopped down and rethreaded stock shifter.
Either they chopped the shifter to be hella cool. Or maybe tranny mounts are destroyed and it's sitting low?

Unless the shifter is broke, the transmission mount failed. Which means maybe the driftshaft is fucked and also the engine mounts.
