Incident 1
Notes: Try not to overdrive the car. Most walls on most tracks have really goofy geometry that can cause issues like this. There's only so much grip through a corner, you need to learn the limits of the car and try not to hotlap every lap.

Incident 2
Notes: This was an issue of not being clear on the rules. Valrys stomped the brakes to prevent passing Trav before the line. I dove to the inside to avoid Valrys and ended up punting Scottie, and the wonderful Brookdale walls took care of the rest. The takeaway here is to keep track of the guy in front of you on restarts and try to time your restart so you don't pass him.
Incident 3
Notes: This is a combination of overdriving the car and not being aware of racing room. These cars slide through the corners, so you need to set up your corner entry so that your travel through the corner is predictable while leaving wiggle room for the cars around you.

After a rather good V8SC race this morning, 12-14 cautions with only 15 seconds of green flag racing every 6 minutes wears on you. Especially when people had been practicing for this race and it results in driving around at 45mph under caution for a large chunk of the afternoon.

theres a minimum start distance and a maximum (the start/finish line). all of the area in between the leader can go as slow or as fast as he wants.

I hope the car properly works with this link.
It replaces the stock engine with all project D pigfat toyota engines(no ae86 11k engines. That would be shamefur display) and project D transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering lock, diff and tyres, all taken from the chaser, but I don't know if they are different in comparison to the other cars. The weight is kept at the stock value of 1591kg(or 3507 pounds for the yanks), so you either have a choice of understeering to your death, or oversteering to your death. Make sure to raise the height, soften the springs and increase the damper value or else the car will bounce a lot.
Make a backup of the original car and then delete everything in the "SUPRAMKIV" folder and replace it with this, just to be sure because I added a bunch of shit in the file..

Some major takeaways from the test race today:
-We need to tune the safetycar so the single car incidents dont trigger an FCY
-We need to get better at managing grip through the corner. You can't hotlap these cars every lap like you can a circuit car. There is a stark difference between qualifying and race pace.
-We need to work on being able to leave racing room for one another. Part of this comes from learning to manage grip. Mostly this takes PRACTICE
The important thing to do between now and the next test race is to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Hotlapping is not enough. You need to get a few people on the server at the same time and practice running in groups, side by side, cornering, etc.

1.race teams use it to get VERY BASIC practice done, since they can't always have track time, this is the next best thing.
2.They do it offline so they don't have netcode issues

Anyone thinking they are clever and wall riding will be instantly DQ'd. To all those who did it to set a fast time, congratulations you played yourself. Now you have to race against someone who's actually fast and will be out round 1
There are some new rules tonight too, if you spin out or crash in a way that the game resets your car you are out. If this happens to both racers I'll allow it to continue. If there will be an uneven amount of brackets either the slowest drivers or those with no time set will be selected to do a few qualifying races to get into the main event. The main event will be double elimination providing there isn't too many people. The losers of the semi final will face off to decide 2nd/3rd, and the final will be a best of 3
One more thing, if you join the server and get a car mismatch and you aren't one of the people I know why this is happening you will not be allowed to race until you join in a car you haven't edited

Paul, I saw a couple of people yesterday driving my supra. A gamepad driver found it hard to drive the car(but he was grip driving before switching to the supra), and safari kept killing the car. So I can safely assume it passed the test. Also I didn't notice it until the safari mentioned it, but the supra cooks the rears pretty fast.

Supra is the same thing, super fragile. There's absolutely nothing imbalanced about your supra even with the fastest engine. You really can't even start to use that much power on akina and if you attempt to the rear tires will just go bye bye. Hit a guard rail with the rear and you can also wave goodbye to the tires. That said at least now it has a chance of hanging with the other PD cars.

Due to gsce updating, today's race is called off. The mod also has a few issues that need as fixing that just can't happen without taking off a week. As I feel the updating system will cause more issues and gent wants to run his series, the GP2 series is called off.
Hopefully I can run another series soon as I had a lot of fun organizing this stuff!
On the bright side that means Scottie is your 2015 /OVGP2/ series champion!
