How do I tune an EG hatch for oversteer?

Skinny overinflated rear tires
>>
>>14069602
Put food trays under the rear wheels and pull the handbrake.
>>
>>14069602
Do you have a rear sway bar?

Also you could lower your car a bit (but don't stance it, fag)

Turn it into a Spoon Civic.

stance it.

Rear biased stiff spring rates and the biggest stiffest rear swaybar you can tolerate with appropriate rear subframe brace.

Also zero toe in the front and rear and some negative camber (2-3 degrees). Applies to every 1990s Honda made
>>
>>14069651

This. If it's a track only car, a tiny bit of toe out in the front will help. For spring rates, 450lb/in front 650lb rear would probably be a decent place to start. If you're still pushing into corners, you can also remove your front sway.

This isn't a magic recipe though. FWD oversteer is a very different animal than RWD and even with a great setup, it's tricky to master. Be safe.
>>
>>14069602
Insist that everyone tapes their hand to the wheel when you race them.
>>
>>14069859
LMAO what a joke what the fuck am i reading in this thread

>FF
>oversteer
>>
>>14069859
This, I'd go for less for a street setup. 300lbs F 350lbs R, give or take 50lbs. And keeping a Type R sized minimum rear swaybar (22mm up to 26mm). Keeping a stock front swaybar or no front swaybar. I run 400/500lbs on a street car and its painful. The ride sucks and you really need decent rubber to take advantage of the full cornering potential.

FWD oversteer really is a bitch. It's very sudden and hard to predict. Lee Grimes from Koni NA has outright told me to be careful with spring rates like that, that he's seen better drivers bin their car on the street driving like idiots with rear biased FWD cars. Even I've had the back end of my Integra come out mid corner and had to catch it by throttling out and countersteering a little bit.
>>
>>14069895
bait
>>
>>14069895
They mean entry I'm guessing. No amount of sway bar and springrate is gonna get it to oversteer on exit obviously since it's FWD.

>mfw ff fags have to ruined their cars handling just to get it to oversteer in only 50% of a corner.

Damn that's a sick build. Isn't that the episode where the random dude drove his shitvic to the touge just to watch and then they ended up driving his car because another car couldn't make it? Tsuchiya absolutely loved it.

Stiffer rear swaybar
>>
>>14070263

Is that supposed to be impressive? shit happens everyday with worn Advan AO48s
>>

>no amount of sway bar and spring rate will get fwd to oversteer on exit

bro, I can get my 2 litre econobox hatch to oversteer on exit, and the suspension is totally oem

and no, not using the handbrake or maccas trays

>>14069905
Lol why even bother replying if you don't know shit, you only come off looking like an idiot

Yeah dude and it completely BTFO the s2000 with a supercharger that the drift king was driving
>>
>>14069905

It's more about balancing an FF car's handling for racing or track use. The goal is to make the rear end a little looser than the front so it will rotate through a corner and keep up with what the front is doing. That way you can keep power going in the corners without inducing understeer.

It looks like this. https://youtu.be/cnhu-iKCQds

All that being said, this statement,
>have to ruined their cars
really speaks to your level of intelligence.

Put slicks on the front and spares on the back.
>>
>>14069905
Senpai, entrance is where you want oversteer and exit is where you want ubdersteer.
>>
>>14075306
This.
You want to rotate in for a better line and scrub out for more speed.
>>
>>14069621
what exactly will pulling the handbrake do with the trays?

>implying your know what ur talking about
>>
>>14075289
everyone that owns a civic seems to own this steering wheel.

can someone tell me what steering wheel it is and why is it so common?
>>
>>14077849
the wheels can't move if you pull the handbrake, keeping them on the trays

oh wait that was bait wasnt it
>>
>>14077858
its just a standard ricer autozone tier wheel.
they also love knock-off nardi wheels from ebay.

>vintage nardi wheel for only $10! sweet deal!

front lsd, disconnect front arb, alignment with 2 degrees of front negative camber
>>
>>14077925
having an lsd will make it understeer more..
>>
>>14077889
>I want to oversteer on exit
I wish I could watch you slide into a barrier like a retard
>>
>>14077849
>fast food trays under rear wheels
>fast food trays are slippery and make te back slide around
What's hard to understand?
>>
>>14077954
LOL NO
>>
Disconnect or remove your front sway bar and upgrade to a stiffer/larger rear sway bar. That should do the trick k8
