Most insurance companies even have a box for "Is modified" on the policy. They can judge that the parts you added to your car could make it unsafe or contributed to the accident, and I'm sure the claims person would come up to that car and start rubbing his jew mitts with glee as he sees the modified suspension, because that sure as hell contributed to the crash.
