I've driven about 1400 km in the 71hp manual version, most of it on the Autobahn. In town it was the most fun I had in a long time, but it was limited to 151 kph so it was useless outside of town. The turning radius is impressive, interior quality is much better than in the previous models and you can finaly get a manual and it isn't a bad one either. The boot is really tiny, so maybe you should go for a ForFour if they are available in your country and if you might have to carry more than just a small bag sometimes. The navigation is a bit stupid sometimes but I guess you can get used to it.

A fiero is the safest car without airbags you can buy. 5 star safety ratings are still good 30 years later. Smart cars are also really safe though oddly enough.
