How did I do o?
NB
not bad
>>14052671
Are you getting seat covers?
>>14052698
I was hoping to get a pair of used Sparco's. I really want something to hold me in place and be snug.
>>14052643
Looks good man. I've always liked the NBs the best. Great find.
>>14052710
>see someone get this sort of a car
>go in my Up! and sob a bit
>>14052747
Don't cry
Just pretend you popped the hood with me for the first time anon
>>14052716
Looks as good as it feels. Tops not bad either.
>>14052767
Now I'm both interested in the car and disappointed in you at the same time.
>>14052710
Airbags need to be engineered to fold much smaller to get that steering wheel look back.
>>14052778
>disappointed
But why? According to the specs she only gained 2 pounds..
>>14052797
What is that?
That can't be stock.
>>14052797
>>14052767
>not a k20 turbo
>>14052781
What about the new mx-5/mazda wheels?
Seems just about on par except for the buttons
>>14052767
>>14052797
wait did the Miata ever come with a V6 stock?
>>14052824
It's a Honda J series V6
>>14052822
>not naturally aspiring to be better
enjoy your half winded dreams
>>14052809
see>>14052830
This is my second car coming from a corolla and I have no idea what I've gotten myself into. It's Honda so I should be fine right?
>>14052859
You need to get those lights polished.
>>14052859
>second car
>swapped Miata
You poor thing
>>14052873
Was gonna try and find some replacements since there are a lot of part outs in my area.
>>14052888
What'd I do?
>>14052859
Gods speed anon
Hopefully whoever did your swap wasn't a fucking retard, for your sake.
You fell for a fucking meme car gg
Does it still have the stock open diff?
>>14052913
thanks man, seems solid
>>14052937
>meme car
what?
>>14052830
I didn't know that people swapped these into Miatas. Looks clean, hope it's reliable OP!
>>14052942
yes
rear diff is the 7" from 1994+ models
>>14052937
Had you ever had a miata.
>easy to work
>little go kart so easy to park and drive
>many many aftermarket parts
>that Japanese durability
No joke. Driven onw wirh 150k no problems.
And i meet people with miatas that have over 200k and give them to there kids for college. So they dont rek a new car
>>14052836
>naturally aspirated
>better
kek
even an naturally aspirated k24 makes more power than J series v6
>>14052797
Well this changes everything.
>>14052913
This type of swap is actually pretty common. I looked up the engine and there's tons of info and pictures on it.
>>14052948
It's really smooth and nice. Almost feels a bit luxurious with minimal pedal input.
>>14052983
>The output in the 2004/2005 TL is 270 hp (201 kW).
You sure about that?
>>14053032
not even the guy you responded to but here ya go
>>14055168

:DDDDDDD
>>14053032
>>14055168

stock f20c made 240hp, the k20a in the type R civics made 220
making 270 in a k24/k20 is piss easy
the J series engine is good, sounds godly, but its heavier than the K series, and parts are hard to find
>>14052643
I like it OP. I'd get one here in the UK but insurance would be £2000. (I'm 19).
>>14055179
Is that naturally aspirated?
>>14055189
Where's the torque?
In case you didn't know, by changing a few internals on the engine I can make over 300 at the crank, and that's coupled 270ft/lbs of torque. It also costs less than half of a turbo on a k20.
>parts are hard to find
Again, mistaken
>>14055189
>>14055673
Does it really matter? I doubt anyone is gonna convince OP to swap a K into it, especially when he already bought it that way.
I really doubt he's going to be heavily nodding it, either. It's his second car and he bought it already swapped.
Just let him be, that V6 has way more power than the 1.8L anyways.
As long as it's reasonably reliable, you done good, OP.
>>14052643
How the he'll did you get my old Miata? Mine looked exactly like that.
>>14052767
This Miata could probably smoke my Focus in a straight and that makes me feel awful.
>Handles better
>Now it's faster off the line
Why this
>>14055698
Where you live brah?
>>14052767
Nice.
How much did it cost you?
>>14055814
my soul~
>>14052767
How much did everything cost you?
