What SD card do you guys use for your GoPro's? Should I get a 34 gig or a 64 one?

I'm really just using it for insurance reasons, I doubt i'll be doing any hooning on my boring commute.

Every GoPro from 3 Silver on has the looping function so even a 16gb will do. Looping = Overwriting old footage if the card is full.

If recording at 1080p60 this translates roughly to
16gb = Last ~75 Minutes
32 gb = Last ~2 1/2 hours
64 gb = Last ~5 hours

If you record at 30 FPS, you can roughly double the times. And at 720p it's even more.

TL;DR
32GB is fine.

This. Sportsbikes usually have a pretty high range to push them down.
Yet i can happem that you touch the road with your footpeg. Its important to not freak out. It happened to me once or twiche maybe more often but i try to reduce it by hanging off.
Usually footpegs give space when they touch the ground so they wont work as a lever.
But as that anon said. Take your time. Its fun that i take right corners easy, touch the ground and think i coulve went fast but havent touched the ground once in left corners.

The best thing to learn to ride is being teached by an instructior on a track. And not only an instructor who tells you how to take corners but also how to take corners with that exact bike you have. Every fucking bike has to be handled in an other way. Thats why i did several trainings with different bikes...

And the only way i could see that happening is you were leaning the bike past its treads somewhere you shouldnt have been.
And sorry i was wrong about the width, your tyres are 189mm wide by 94.5mm tall where as the PP3's are 188.8mm wide by 103.8mm tall.
The reason you feel more confident is because the tyre is a lower profile, basically it is the same deal as the last tyre i had which felt way better because i could not lean the bike as far but i was going much slower.

Sorry if i sound like a dick i don't try to i just never sleep so im always over tired.

my bikes efi is kinda harsh. i'm going to buy it a k&n filter and sync the thottle bodies because it's also a bit buzzy at low rpm, which i think will solve the problem
to sync the throttle bodies i have to check the valve clearances and set idle rpm first. i'm willing to do this myself but i've never done it before. most technical i've gotten with my bike is wiring signals, changing fluids, and a clutch cable replace. how hard is a valve check for the first time? i'd like to know how to do all these things myself but dont want to fuck anything up.

>>14053714
2006 fz6. valves are overdue anyway so i should really do them. kinda been putting it off and assuming they're fine cause that's what people tend to say about jap bikes sometimes. either way, they need to be checked, and i'm going to do the rest of this maintenance to tame it's on/off throttling which is really annoying, and hopefully improve mileage and power.

i'm also going to do a battery reset. read on a forum that it develops a map based on how you ride or something, so it might need re calibrating or something idfk (paraphrasing). the bike is just notoriously lurchy when bone stock too, so we'll see.

Personally I'd look on Whidbey Island but you'd need to take a ferry to work.

Marysville maybe, that area is all too close to Seattle for anything to be cheap.

go as far north as you can put up with commute wise. Everett is kind of a shithole, lynnwood is really a shithole

If it's anything like the rest of the ferries then in the morning and evening around work time it gets very VERY backed up. Motorcycles don't have to wait in line though.

you ll definitely be fine if you stay there and its fun too. nothing will happen if you venture out on the tours etc. but stuff has occasionally(very rarely) happened to tourists. dont come on a cruise because they dont dock in one of the more fun (in my opinion) areas. you'd have a better time going to a hotel

>>

Sweet, saved for later. Once I actually get a place, movers will deliver all my crap. Between that and the holiday coming up, not really sure when that will happen. Debating flying to see family or just staying there to get situated and whatnot. Haven't been on a bike since March or April.
>>
>>14054462
Oh shit take that other road going out of granite falls, not the highlighted one.

And take that time to do the stupid touristy stuff. Go to Seattle and see the market and the space needle, go to deception pass, go to port angeles, etc etc. get it out of your system early then the rest of the time you are there you can get to know the state.

New Zealand Bros. How possible is it for 2 amerilards to fly down, buy a couple SV 1000s and then sell them 3 weeks later after riding around your country for 18 days? Renting is idiotically expensive and this way we'd get some of our money back.

Pic related: my learner bike aka dad's bike. I was actually seriously looking at a Honda Valkyrie (early 00s) for a while until I discovered how awesome balanced v twins sound, then started looking at TL1000Rs (don't care for the S) , then realized that my buell was better in every way, then thought I couldn't afford one so I started looking at SV650s, then realized I could afford an 1125r if I financed it. So I bought one.

When you buy a used car from a dealer they have to provide a warranty by law. This doesnt apply to bikes. So if they wanted they could just shaft you.

Is $3500 for a 2009 SFV650 Gladius with 1300 miles a good or bad deal? It has been dropped once he said so minor scrapes. This is in central california.

It would be my second bike, so I think I'd be good enough to ride it, however, I have about 6,000 saved up, is it a bad investment? Or will it be reliable enough to make up for the 3500?

dear /dbt/

why is every youtube bike vlogger a massive douchebag or an attention whore?

>gets passed casually on highway
>OMG HE PASSED ME SO FAST I ALMOST DIED FUCKING STOP IT!!
>confronts the driver
>driver apologizes
>still autisticly enraged and declines the apology, flips him off and drives off
>cager this, cager that

>proceeds to do a wheelie in the middle of a busy highway after that

this is literally every bike vlog i've seen
>>
>>14055131
Pls tell me were the bad moto vloggers touched you.
>>
>>14055131
They film themselves riding and then post it on the internet for all to see, of course they're attention whores.

They tend to be young blokes who think they're god's gift to entertainment.
>>
>>14055131
So you never get mad if some one tries to run you over or puts your life in danger?
>>
>>14055131
because people who actually ride for the fun of it dont need to assure themselves about their masculinity. vloggers tend to think that theyre part of an elite club and feel the need to enlighten everybody on the most meaningless things. basically what >>14055137 said.

on the other hand, i cannot grasp the idea of watching someone ride a bike. i mean, why watch if you can go out, get a bike, and have a little adventure of your own. its like watching other people fuck. why would you do it if you can do it yourself? oh...
