And i mean mods, not just the type of car. Cause that's pretty obvious.
Efficient line work there pal

Sbc alum heads rad and wp, Victor Jr or similar single plane, long tube headers, can't see but hei? Also guessing a healthy cam and either a Holley or edelbrock 600/750 mechanical secondary carb.
Is it in a mustang? Also don't believe you.
new parts soon.jpg

2.3 from a tbird tc fmic, bov and Mbc. It's also in a ranger
>>14047213
It is an aluminum headed 406 SBC, Victor Jr intake, long tubes, it does have an hei tucked back behind the carb, Comp Cams XE274H hydraulic flat tappet cam, with a quickfuel 850 to top it off. It's sitting in a 1978 Nova. I would do bread on hood but it's in storage for the winter that is supposedly coming to Chicago. Old pic with bread tied to door handle
>>14047317
right on the

Kinda hard to tell from the angle but the stock IHI is gone, replaced with a T3/4 and the head has some port work.
And nah, it's still in a Thunderbird
>>14047344

It's getting rebuilt soon, has a good amount of blow by but compression is still in spec and no smoke out the pipe. Red line every time it drives Will not die

Too lazy to go outside and take a pic, but exactly the same as what I have except cover is black wrinkle painted
>>14047511
black wrinkle paint masterrace

I got the valve cover from a guy on craigslist who didn't really know what he had for like $80, they're discontinued and haven't been made for over 10 years iirc. You don't want one, the gasket surface is flat so you can't use an OEM valve cover gasket, I'm not even going to run it, just wanted to see how it looked. The rebuild has been taking place for a while, set of itb's, rc injectors, tuner2 cams, machine shop bill for the head work (hot tanked, decked, installed supertech valve train and seals, 3 angle valve job, etc), forged pistons, moroso pan, catch can setup, a raychem dr-25 tuck harness, nice header, custom machined crank pulley. Easily a few grand over the years.
>>14047523
gotta bake it in a kiln or oven, makes the wrinkles much tighter like this
>>14047531
Valve cover off becuse id be too easy otherwise
>>14047482

Usually, the opening on a flange is a bit smaller than the gasket that's made for it. So you can open up the opening on the flange a bit to match the size of the gasket.
>>14047593
looks clean as fuck, very nice
>>14047606
I opened up you're mum's flange last nite m8
>>14047577
I know nothing about cars, just swinging by to check out the pictures in the daily bike thread and thought this looked like an interesting thread. What does wrinkle my covers mean?

1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 5speed, 22R engine with single barrel carbeurator and aftermarket headers, pacesetter if i was to guess, and possibly a RV cam and head?
>>14047469
honda B series. B16/18?
>>14055881
B16 head, B18 block. It's an ls/vtec, you put a vtec head (b16 in this case since it's the same head casting as the type r with different cams) with a larger displacement bottom end.
when i bought it
mmmmmm
