Because /k/ and /o/ go together perfectly. The big question is how to spend the inevitable Christmas money I'll be getting. I'm thinking of maybe putting some money down on a C96 Mauser. Maybe some other gun, but probably something to expand my collection; either German, British, Russian, or Japanese.

Very few Ferraris or Maseratis even have central locking. They used to have these shitty immobilizers on 360/550s but that's about the only doodad you will see other than a plain key up until recently. The keys are also terrible quality and all the paint will rub off if you put them in your pocket more than a handful of times.
Between having to carry master keys for 3 buildings, work vehicles and mine its getting annoying.

My girfriend's beat to shit Passat was almost stolen in broad daylight in a full parking lot, they ripped out the ignition barrel with what I assume was a slide hammer but bailed for some reason.
She too starts it with a screwdriver now.
