4300K is the absolute best visibility, period, end of discussion, this is not up for debate. People who think anything higher is better are the same people who claim you can see the difference between 60FPS and 100FPS.
I have 5500K Morimotos to match the color of the LEDs. Good compromise between function and form.

Except you literally can. Most people don't have crts or fast enough lcds to display more than 60fps, but the faster the animation, the more frames you need to deceive your eyes into seeing smooth motion. Slower animation can get away with fewer frames, but very fast racing games and fps's can benefit. It's actually pretty easy to verify this if you record the same sequence at 60 and 100 fps and play them back in split-screen on a 100+ Hz monitor.

But because people are fucking retards who think more blue = more good, 4300K is the acceptable compromise. Any higher and you are reducing your own and other road users out-of-light vision, making you a retard.

I'm debating getting new headlights in my 2003 truck. Annoying as shit when cars behind you make shadows in your headlights. Some of those lights look like brights head on...it's the worst. How bright can I go without being a douche?
