Hard mode: It cant be the actual new Ford SHO because the name is just a lie.

Why is the new SHO a lie?
The original was a 15 second/high 14 second(manual cars) 210-230hp car with relatively limited modding potential.
The current SHO makes 365+hp stock and runs mid/high 13's. A simple tune/ecu flash puts them into low/mid 12's. Granted the aftermarket starts getting tougher for them upon getting into 11's but they get to that point relatively easily. Still more easily gained potential than the original SHO.
That all said I do find the original SHO to be more interesting and I like it more overall - but I don't think the current generation SHO should be written off.

Still is faster and has a great power train. The car itself isn't bad either. It's still just a family sedan like its predecessor.
The original SHO wasn't an autocross champ either.
The new accord sport would ,be if they would just let the sedan have the v6 6speed mt from the coupe.

The 08+ WRX moved up to the Legacy platform, so it's about a midsize sedan. 268hp or 305hp isn't too bad. Still available with a 6 speed too.
