What's your opnion on Alpines?

Muh dikk! Fucking beautiful cars, even the later models. Too bad they're only good for zipping around southern europe or driving in the summer.
>>14028590
I love them.
They're so tiny and low, the blue A110 driven fast looks like it's a water droplet on a hot stove.

Love them especially for showing how RR cars should handle, but it helps that they are also pretty practical.

I like the older ones
There's one of those scammy used luxury dealers in my town that will finance clapped 7 series and Quattroportes at 28% to people with 0 credit then repo them months later, oddly enough there's an Alpine vintage race car for sale there right now, just waiting for the "is this a good first car" post when an /o/tist finds it.

life is suffering

I know.
>>14029155
Fuck, old Alpines make my cock hard
I would pay over 200 for a new Alpine with Bluetooth and USB in that 90s style.

Wat?
>>14028638
I love the blue. Muh dick
They just had to make it angry.
I think there is a place for angry cars but enough is enough.
>>14029458
At least it doesn't have a massive gaping fishmouth grille...
>>14028590
I like Alpines a lot. They're all quite rare, but the newer ones cost quite a lot less than you'd expect. You can get a decent Gta for £8,000 or so.
>>14029496
Gta's are probably the most underrated of Alpine's, anyway.
best girl drives one

Woman, anon. Far above a mere girl.
How are gta's? There is one for sale nearby and it needs some work. Something tells me it will be a money pit.

Oh, indeed. God only knows, anon.

This
I'd love to own one but there's like 20 total in the US and I don't want to have to import one. Finding parts is probably hard enough over in Yurop anyway.
>>14030532
Us version has probably the best OSHA sticker applied to a car though.
>>14030509
Like all french cars, you MUST know what you're doing with them, otherwise any "fix" will likely cause a problem somewhere else.
Biggest problem you might have are with UK cars, because despite being known for rain aparently garage's are to expensive and thus eventually water gets into the electric system and the door hinges, and the results range from annoying to ugly.
Bodywork is high quality fiberglass, and so is the chassis; the steel there mainly provides a frame. Mechanically it's robust, the engine can go on for 200k miles without even any adjustment so long as it doesn't overheat (aluminium).
That said, there is plenty of club support so it's not really that daunting.

>muh special snowflake
Well, it looks nice too...
>>14030921
they are more practical than that camaro, though.
>>14030988
I beg to differ, a turd gen has a pretty big boot. More storage under that cover in the rear too. It's pretty deep, and the rear seats fold down to carry long things. The rear seat is also not TOO small, if you're not trying to fit really tall people in it. I fit just fine at 5'7".
>>14031162
The rear seat of the alpine are not like the 911's though, they are adult sized. Perhaps the boot on the Camaro is bigger though.
