I like Aston Martins.
Do you like Aston Martins, /o/?

Best interior and looks of any car
>>14027352
nice ford focus
I like DB7s
Idk 300k for 500hp is bleak
And their latest upcoming model isn't even street legal so wtf
I drive an Aston
>>14027352
I would rather get an F-type desu, cool cars though
>>14027663
>a mere 500 horsepower
The horsepower wars are getting dumb anyway. It's a great thing that a manufacturer is willing to say that what they've got is badass even if it doesn't set a new record.

Yes.
My love affair with the brand started 2005 when I was playing Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2. There was a car there that I thought looked "swanky" (didn't know what the word meant at the time, but I new that that was it) and had no idea what it was. It was low with a long hood. Wide and kinda boxy in a muscular sort of way. Very understated at first glance amongst the field of other exotic sportscars, but oozed style upon closer inspection. Found out that was called an "Aston-Martin V8 Vantage '99" from the game's discription of it. Researched the car. The thing was making like 550hp from a twin-supercharged V8 but the car itself was designed to be a sporty luxury coupe -- a "GT" if you will. Thought that was pretty fucking neato. Went on to research Aston-Martin as a brand found out about the rich history and the cool cars that they were making at the time: The Vanquish, the new Vantage, and the gorgeous DB9. I learned that the brand was about speedy sophisticlassy cars for the road with a background in building some badass winning racecars.
I was a fan ever since.

A 7 litre Vantage is one of my life goals
Not really to be perfectly honest.
Mostly due to >>14027642
I'd rather go for the F-Type.
yeah astons are pretty cool, though alot of them are starting to feel generic by how common theyre getting, especially the XF
There was en E-Type at the classic drag racing yesterday, ran a 14.7

i find expensive / luxury cars to be really boring
same reason why i hate exotics
>>14027352
I live an Aston. Very classy and good looking rides. Would definitely own one as well.
>>14027352
I don't dislike them, but there are other things I'd prefer. Saying that, if I was stupid rich, my collection of British stuff would definitely include a V12 Vantage. Probably in British Racing Green.

best sounding Aston coming through

Aston's look like garbage. Used to be classics with unique looks, but the only unique thing on their cars nowadays is the logo
>Lotus
>Aston
>Rolls-Royce
>Bentley
>McLaren
Why can't the Brits out of lazy repeated 'design language'?
>>14027352
99% sure that photo was taken at NOLA Motorsports Park.
How's the place doing these days?

When I worked at a dealership a while ago my boss had a 2011 vantage that I got to drive numerous times. What a car! It wasn't about the power ("only" a v8) it was just such a great vehicle to drive. The interior was stunning and it was a joy to be behind the wheel. I gained a lot of appreciation for Aston Martin after that job and if I ever win the lottery I know I'll be buying an Aston. The whole experience was a huge eye opener. Pic related is the only one I have at hand(I really didn't know how to take pictures then though I'm not much better now)
Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford one of my own!

The sound that fucking car makes is something out of this world!
Aston and Jag are the classiest exotic brands.
It's too bad they're owned by foreign scum now

>It's too bad they're owned by foreign scum now
Is it that bad for Jaguar getting a blank cheques from Tata?
>Nobody loves me
>>14035042
Aston Martin is back to being independent, I thought?

Because you're a Toyota iQ whore whose only purpose was to raise the brand's average lineup fuel efficiency.
