Why do I never see front fenders removed from pt cruisers or chevy HHRs? They're designed to look like hot rods used to be, so why don't people hot rod them like that at some point?

Also, out of curiosity, are there places to look for good used cars for under 2k?
>>
They're owned by grandmas, daddy's little girls, and homosexuals. All of which have no interest in modifying their vehicle.

Craigslist.

Sounds good for me then, and I am gay and want to hot rod it if I get one.

There isn't a law against having exposed front wheels, is there?

Why would you make an ugly car worse than it is?

It just doesn't work out.

Yes, there is. It's against vehicle code. Old cars get grandfathered, only the vehicle code from their production date applies.

Because I like the old design that hit rods had, though thanks to your picture, it looks like such modifications would require more than a mere fender removal... hmm, wonder if there is any body kit for it or not.
>>

Aha! That is why I never see the hot rod look, it would require a tiny fender like a motorcycle to be legal today, and such a job is more costly than the car tends.to be worth, that makes sense.
Still like the design myself though.

I don't understand why you'd pursue using a PT Cruisers disgusting body to create a hot rod, but godspeed anon.

The prowler is what you want.

I like this modification, more modern cars need fins.

Yes, but they are beyond price range.
