Ford has been having major problems with their dry double-clutch "powershift" automatics they've been putting in Fiestas and Focii since 2012. It's a good system when it works, but it has a catastrophic nearly 50/50 failure rate for every year of operation. IE virtually guaranteed to fail before the warranty even runs out. They've been scrambling but thus far have absolutely no real solution to the problem. It's a complete mess.
Same car in manual=no problem. However, these cars are sold in fuckhuge numbers as fleet vehicles, rentals and of course to consumers 90% of which only drive automatic.
This is a major source of Ford's reliability issues as of late and you can see how the Fiesta is shown as the least reliable vehicle they offer.

>Taur*s
>Sports car
is that the best F*rd can do?
>miata where?
the miata is 2016 model
>>14008663
>sports car
didnt know the thread was about just sports cars
>2016 model
wow i never knew the 2015 miata didnt exist
>3/10 top spots (incl. 1 and 2) are Toyota
>some fag is still going to come around and cry about some recalls, a software problem that wasn't their fault, and a few issues that exist in one year of specific cars before getting fixed
Toyota's not perfect but everyone else is shittier
also FCA is garbage, are they even trying? like fuck, Chrysler has been the worst marque for about 30 years now
>>14008673
look at the OP, the most reliable F*rd is less reliable than the least reliable Mazda®
obv no reason to buy a Taur*s over a Mazda 6®
>wow i never knew the 2015 miata didnt exist
it does, but if you read what you posted again, there is no roadster category because there is no competition, it says there must be at least 3 models
>Infiniti dropped an entire 14 places
What the hell happened?
>>14008621
>Camaro, Mustang
>*No other model in this segment performs above segment average
hahaha holy shit Dodge and possibly Hyundai BTFO

that has nothing to do with being a roadster
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/roadster
and yes, mini has a separate model for a roadster
http://www.miniusa.com/content/miniusa/en/model/roadster.html
>>14008777
look buddy, I am not in charge of J.D., if you want to complian about not adding the boxster or the mini roadster send them an e-mail or something
They forgot the Tesla, which I now a "don't buy".
>>14008803
*is now a "don't buy".

Ok. Let me say, I can't stand those Consumer Reports reliability scores.
Why?
Because it's all predicted. None of it's based on actual fact. That list is just "oh we think these cars are going to be the most reliable/unreliable based on the stains left on the toilet rim when I took a shit this morning".
For that reason, I prefer the JD Powers reliability study. It's based on problems actually reported over 3 years, no matter how small. Yes, Mazda still out-ranks Ford. but at least it's based on facts now.
>>14008786
fuckkkk that looks so good
This means nothing to me until I've seen a rating of Consumer Reports accuracy.

>JD power
>>14008594
What the fuck is an average predicted reliability score? consumer reports a shit.
>mfw subarus are the most and the least reliable cars ever!
