Don't fuck with /o/ these faggots have voo doo

One time I posted about my car.
Some faggot said it would never reach 200,000 miles I told him to eat shit.

Blew the head at 189,XXX.
Never forgot about that faggot that said that, I rebuilt it out of spite. Drove for 2000 miles and got totaled by some bitch that ran a stop.

I'm still going to fix it and hit 200,XXX.

Fuck you /o/
>>
No one said it was going to break down. We called you an idiot for spending $4k on a 2005 twin turbo audi with high mileage, body damage, and bird shit all over it.
>>
>>13988104
My dad has the same car and it has 370k km/ 230k miles and he has owned it for 2 years and it only needed a new alternator
>>
>>13988072
My best friend bought a 2001 A4 a couple years ago with around 110k miles on it.

First night driving it, hit a pothole and the exhaust busted. A couple days later, timing belt broke and lol interference engines.

He ended up just buying a used engine for ~$1200 and dropping it in. New head and all the work would've been about the same. As soon as the thing was running, he just wanted to get rid of it. Sold the thing, lost like $1000 and a bunch of labor on it, and was just happy to be done with it. Bought another BMW after that.

He did end up buying another similar A4 a year or two later to have as a winter car, and that one was decent for the ~6mos he drove it.
>>
>>13988629
Fuck those faggots. I hope you reach 300k miles, it will happen because I said so.

Imma let you in on a little secret OP. Your only mistake so far was posting your car. It could have been a beater Civic or a brand new Lamborghini. Doesn't matter, /o/ will shit all over it. Hell, it's the same reason I don't post pictures of my Mustang build and it's the reason my brother doesn't post anything about his 300ZX TT he's working on. They'll just shit all over it. But hopefully the car will work out for you, if not, don't ask /o/'s advice. Fix it, or don't. This is just a place to shitpost and see an occasional car picture, not a place for any meaningful discussion.

Post your car as much as you like, you just can't be the sensitive type. If someone is easily offended or upset by negative reaction to their actions, or material possessions, work on getting over it because it makes life so much better.

>Can you not even import a used car that was sold in the exact same model and specs new in the US?
Sure, if you can prove that it is that.
>>
>>13992456
So if I bring over a F150 sold new here five years ago with the same specs as one sold in the US then I should theoretically be able to register it in the US without trouble?
>>
>>13992456
Dunno about the US, but in Canada you can, however you have to put any parts on the car that the Canadian market had that are required by law. Which can be things like the bumper beams, child seat anchor mounting points, different seat belts, different lights, and all kinds of emissions shit that NA market cars have that euro cars don't and shit. English and french labels, too. lol

A bunch of cars sold in canada and the US are the same, a 240sx with auto seatbelts has to have manual ones put in before it can be imported and shit.

So a huge pain in the dick, basically.

Pic Related: My DD. I've put 50k Miles on it and spend around 50$ in replacement parts for non wear items. I did the math one day and including the purchase price, fuel, and all maintenance/repairs, this thing has cost me about $0.16 per mile to drive, and it will be running long after you've sunk more than I paid for mine into repairs.

That's good anon, not being sarcastic.
Since I'm not mechanically retarded and can keep up the maintenance, I hope don't ever have to hand out a large chunk of money at once.

Yup, you're sure the winner there, friend.

Lolzzz a6 pigfat 2.7t ashit

Did you even price parts?
I doubt you can even tear into it when it needs work because you're retarded.
So labor and parts will teach you a lesson.
And it's probably the shitty auto

I don't know man, I've seen to many Audi's need serious work at between 100-150k.

My last LeSabre made it to 540k. Trans finally went and I just drove her into the woods in reverse and left her for future archaeologists to discover.

I'm thinking about going ahead and replacing the timing belt and everything.

Better safe than sorry.

Although they get a lot of shit around here, those Audis aren't unreliable at all if you look after them and you maintain them religiously. I've owned a 97 A4 1.8T and as long as I'm on top of the maintenance the fucker just keeps going.

Glad for you OP, but don't fool yourself, if you neglect it just a little, it will start falling apart. Personally, I think it's well worth taking care of them.

Anyone think that these from a 2013 A7 would look good on mine?

Not really. Unless the car already needed work, I would expect it to go for a lot more than 1400 miles before a problem arose. Fuck, I've driven my 2000 Toyota for 40k miles since I got it and I've only done scheduled maintenece. Not a single problem. Btw, cool car OP I hope you enjoy it.
