Meh. Only good thing they have is recon cream

Uh considering their liquid wax is used by professional detailers I'd beg to differ.

They're not the best at everything but they're very good at the price range

I use Griot's everything, very happy with the results.

I even have the overpriced bucket, I like the wheels.

>he's never used their ultimate paste wax or liquid wax
Faggot.
All you need is some wash and wax, meguiar's clay kit and depending on your color, some wax. Mine's white, i use ultimate paste wax and liquid wax in between full waxes.

Well, Collinite 845 is pretty superior in the wax department. M105 and M205 are fantastic polishes. I use a griots garage 6" DA polisher. What else do you want to know?

Meguires/Mother's is fine as long as you don't have a $500k car.

This shit worked wonders on my 13 year old black paint

Anyone have any recommendations for removing sticker glue? Dad bought a tow truck and the glue from the decals of the dead towing company won't come out. Tried Goo Gone, didn't do anything.

What would be the best way to sand and polish freshly laid paint?

I've had success with grease and wax remover. I've also used a box cutter to scrape off really old pinstriping. You just have to be really, really careful about it. Polish it up afterwards, it's not so bad.

I really like this stuff
Tightens up old leather and it keeps it non greasy

Fascinating. Grease first, then wax remover? I used a heat gun to remove the decals. Decals came out but the glue stayed behind.

Vinegar.

I'll give that a try too.

I use razor blades with glass cleaner on windows. lots of lacquer thinner on the paint or solvent if the paint is black.

Get an eraser wheel for a dremel or drill.

>>13981996
You're using too much. Just a thin sheen. More is not better.

How can I get buildup off a leather steering wheel?

actual detail fag here. at the Nissan dealership I work at we use tide laundry detergent to wash the car. it does an amazing job scrubbing off bugs and stuck dirt and it gives the car a homey smell that customers come back for. also it dosent mess up paint or agitate rust.I also used tide in votech. .. also keep wax off your plastics especially on 1st gen xterras and frontiers
>>
Slapped some Jet Seal on my car just last week. Pricey, but easy as piss to apply and produced a pretty deep shine. The bottle says it lasts for up to 12 months but I'm assuming that means '12 months if you garage it and drive no more than 1k miles per year'.

Borrow a dual action polisher, wet sand it with 1500 grit, then 2000 griit, then polish it out.
>>

Is this serious? Sounds pretty good to me.
>>
>>13984130
commercial detergents will work great to get rid of dirt etc but it will also strip off all your wax
>>
>>13984130
