I love mini trucks, I love lowered trucks in general actually. I have been considering bagging my 2000 GMC Sierra but it isn't in decent condition enough and I use it a lot to carry shit my dad might need and such. Maybe if I keep it another 20 years and it becomes a classic, then I'll do a full show truck restoration.

a few years ago i got a rattle canned s10 xtreme in a trade, 4.3 5 speed with headers and a programmer. was surpisingly quick but i sold it because it was an absolute nightmare to drive on dirt roads

A little too much. I need to part with my shitty base model comanche since I have a chief as well but at the same time in seconds driving it I can imagine how fun itd be to lower it, turbo it, and tweak the suspension a bit
This seems like the right thread. I need some advise, as I´m european and I have never owned an american truck(or a car), but there is one for sale near me for a reasonable price.
The truck is a Chevrolet Colorado 2.8 regular cab ´05(with manual transmission). Are these any good? or should I look at the other american minitrucks or the japanese trucks?

I have a 99 xtreme. Kept it fairly factory except for paint, 18 inch wheels that I want to get rid of, and LED tail lights, which are actually really good. Ben tossing around the idea of a v8 swap or air ride, but I can't make up my mind.
The ZQ8 suspension is harder then a rock though, holy shit.

Eh, kinda. I built this to replace the Malibu I had before it, but honestly, I'm looking forward to getting another G-body. Anyways, obligatory V8 swap, 4 spd, 4wl disc, caltracs, AFCO springs/shocks.
I'd love to get a mini truck. Probably an old toyota.
Why are these called minitrucks, they're the ideal size for trucks. Why don't we call the 2015 F150 an XBAWKSHUEG truck instead?
