Thoughts on the Chevrolet Trax? It recently went on general sale here and the specs sure look tempting.
>1.4 138hp 200nm turbo engine
>sunroof, 6 airbags
>6-gears torque converter AT transmission

The proportions look all fucked up. It reminds me of one of these photoshops.
>>13981407
It looks like a shrunken Captiva.

It's a lifted Chevy Sonic/Aveo. Sister vehicles include the Opel Mokka/Buick Encore, and Opel/Vauxhall Corsa.
They're pretty reliable, but a bit soul-less. I prefer the Buick Encore/Opel Mokka variant.
My gf owns the buick encore. Basically the same car.
Good mpgs, good handling with the awd. Good run about car.
Things that suck. Infotainment is not touchscreen. No space in the back, it gets packed to the tits when we go camping. If it detects alot of wheel spin (gunning it from a stop on snow/ice) it will turn off awd then you are fucked.
She paid way too much for it and bought it before we met. Honestly get a wagon or a crossover with a bigger boot.
Why GM are fucking so much the proportions of their cars?
Everytime a see this motherfucher I think it is a huge truck
>1.4L engine
>138hp
These are pathetic specifications for ANY car, let alone an SUV.
>>13981651
because consumers assume bigger = safer
>>13981656
its so small that its actually adequate power for the CUV.
>>13981656
The car boogies along with that power. Its a CUV what more do you want? 1000hp and a sub 7 min burgeronionring lap time?
>>13981663
They assume bigger=safer because it is. If you don't have a large enough crumple zone you will fucking die. Even if the car has reinforced metals (such as the smart car) your body can't handle large amounts of shock to its internal organs. So you need crumple zones to reduce that shock, but compact cars don't have large crumple zones which make it more dangerous to get in crashes than an average mid sized vehicle.
>>13981383
>138hp
>car weighs 1.4 tonnes
how is that in any way tempting?
>>13981656
Have you seen how small that thing is?
>>13981707
>taller = bigger
My wife bought one last year, she loves it.
>>13981560
OK, thanks. I think I'll buy it.
For the record, the competitions in my country are Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, Honda HR-V and Subaru Crosstrek.
