What's a good subaru that isn't riddled with problems?
That has ground clearance.
That is wagon
That is sold in the US
That is under $5000
Don't care if auto or stick.
Has to be able to pull its weight around.

Stop being poor and buy a good car.

i can give you give you about half your list, but not the whole thing you greedy fuck
Anything not DOHC. Best way to sum it up really.

>Maintain it
This can be said of any car.
Seems Subaru's require more though>>13981264
My 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport
Fucking fantastic
>beautiful
>practical
>wagon
>AWD master race
They're great and I love mine, she has 157,000 miles and I plan on taking her much farther, as long as you show the car love it'll love you back.
>>13981262
Not poor.
I just want to like Subaru.
>>13981288
If it was only facelifted inside... Can't stand the old style dash and door cards.
>>13981288
This is your best bet if you want maximum reliability. The 2.2 is bomb proof but is lacking in power.
Just get a forester that already has had the head gaskets fixed. The gaskets were a faulty design from the factory and once replaced last forever. The rest of the vehicle is pretty damn reliable.

> That is sold in the US
There's your problem
>>13981263
This.
My only complaint with mine (161k) is the 4EAT. The thing is going to kick out in the near future.
>>13981342
Doesn't the impreza outback have more ground clearance?
>>13981329
We had Legacy/Liberty GT wagons state side.
>>pic related, my Legacy GT wagon
>>13981349
By memory, the Legacy Outback has more ground clearance.
>>13981389
Google says you're correct.
But the legacy is noticeably heavier
>>13981349
Put Forester springs on it and add 1"
Top hat spacers, add another inch or so.
>>13981425
On the impreza?
>>13981381
Here in NZ you can get a JDM 3rd-gen Legacy GT that meets all of OPs requirements apart from being available in the US, was my point.
Nice car. Have you lowered yours very slightly?
>>13981648
Stock height. STI BBS with a bit wider tire and more offset.
>>13981288
Second this, I have two of these cars. Any 93-01 Impreza 2.2 not rusted to hell.
>>13981288
These cars are great as fuck
Just watch for rust and be prepared to deal with sub-par mileage.
Subaru brumby, i dont want to google a pic of one but they come in wagons. best car subaru ever built.
OP here.
So I should just buy a corolla wagon?
