How do you feel about Aston Martin's new styling direction?

They are trying to get away from the Ian Callum/Henrik Fisker design of the DB9 that they have been recycling for the last 10 years.
That's... an interesting look. Not sure what I think of it yet.

The styling looks ok. Aston shouldn't go too edgy though. I view them as a more elegant Porsche, and the feminine curves elicit a lot of grace. It would be a shame to trade that for the grumpier version of jaguar's current language.

To be fair, pop-ups only screw over like one safety regulation and don't have any other major drawbacks. You could always have a strip of LED just beneath the popups/with the turning signal as a backup light source in the event a pop-up is broken.
I go by "The safest car to be hit by no car."
Can you just put some not-very-noticeable LED lights down at the red circles for visibility purposes, while putting pop-ups on the blue circles?

You forget that it might look good in this case.
Problem is if this goes meme like the windows, they will make small headlight just for the only reason TO MAKE THE GRILLS AND EMBLEMS 10x BIGGER.
I fucking bet soon they will integrate the headlights into the cars emblem which will stretch over the whole front end.
Next step after this will be to widen the front to make the already huge emblem even bigger.
