Why can't I push start my car? I used to be able to pop the clutch to start it but it wont anymore. Anyhow, car starts normally via the key but there have been instances where it would be helpful. Batt reads 12.5V and alternator 13.9V. starter related? flywheel? pls halp br/o/s

If its 12.5 is 80% charged. If after driving your voltage is that low you have a damaged cell, and a bad battery.

No. 12.8V is 0% DoD for a lead acid battery. 12.5 is about 40% DoD.
