not him, but i feel like everyone posting in this thread is either canadian or lives in new york. mid 20 year olds just starting their career don't average 55-65k starting salaries in normal places in the US. In fact, without children 25k a year leaves a lot of extra money to play around with when the average rent is 800$ a month, or like most mid 20 people.. 450$ a month all included with a room mate.
It really puzzles me that this surprises you when the median wage of all americans is much lower than the average wages posted by people just getting out of school or with less than 5 years experience in their field. It's either bullshit or like I said, in a high cost of living area.

Want to pick up something either 4WD or large and trucklike, not necessarily 4WD, possibly an E series conversion van or something retarded like that, want a Tercel or Festiva or Saturn 3-door for top-tier shitbox status, sort of "saving up" (read: living at home and instead dribbling money on gadgets and /g/ shit) for a Focus RS when those come out. Or not, I dunno.
