Anyone else refuse to drive foreign cars?
I have only ever driven and bought cars made in these God given United States of America. Even if I was a billionaire I would never defect and buy a European sports car. My heart will always be stateside as I would be driving a c7z.
Currently I drive a 5.0 Mustang with an American flag on the antenna. Shit has full bolt ons and a centrifugal supercharger putting out nearly 850rwhp. I'm proud of my car and my brothers that made this possible due to freedom. This wouldn't be possible in foreign land.

I've had 3 cars in total. All 3 have been American GM vehicles, and only 1 was built in another country.
1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 (built in Canada)

Out of the 30+ cars I've owned, only two have been foreign. A 94? Camry I got for free with a 2.2 that threw a rod out the block within a half hour, and a 97 Maxima I paid $200 for.
I actually loved that Maxima, it had 225k on it but ran like new, drove it for half a year then sold it for $1500. Only thing I ever did to that car was cut the rotors and put in quickstruts out back.

Unironically, I'll probably never own a foreign car without the intention of reselling it. I like Mopar products more than anything else and haven't ever considered buying a competing product. If I was stupid rich, that'd probably change. I'm a big fan of high end exotics, especially McLarens, but they're not in the realm of reality.
About the highest performance factory car I could ever afford would be a Viper, or whatever is replacing it. Either way, it's more fun to build on cheaper Mopar platforms for me. I'd rather take a Challenger R/T up to 800hp than buy a hypercar at those levels.
