The BNR34 is the ultimate of the Skyline breed, bar nothing right up to this day.
Say what you will about Godzilla, you only do that because you can't import anything else yet. Once the BCNR33s are able to be imported you'll be ramming your tongue up its tailpipe no doubt.

Only the BNR32 GT-R is known as Godzilla. It was the only GT-R prior to the R35 that was officially sold in Australia. The BCNR33 and BNR34 were not and so got no press in the mainstream media (who gave the BNR32 the Godzilla knickname).

The R33 and R34 are fine in their own ways, but the R32 is the one that earned the nickname.

Why, because it's the last Skyline GT-R? It's faster? Oh well color me surprised that a newer version of the same car is faster.
The only differences between the R32 and R34 are the Getrag 6-speed, larger turbos, electric vs hydraulic HICAS, a few updates to the suspension & brakes, and more electronic bits throughout the car.
No matter how cool you think the R34 is, the R32 is the one that brought the GT-R badge back, and the only one that earned the nickname and reputation.
